President-elect Joe Biden denounced “all acts of violence” in a statement to Fox News after anti-Trump protests clashed with supporters of the president during the Million MAGA March in Washington D.C. on Saturday. One person was stabbed and 20 were arrested after hundreds of Trump supporters gathered near Freedom Plaza, according to the Washington Post.

The 26-year-old victim was stabbed three times while helping a fellow counter-protester during an altercation with a group of seemingly drunk men, some wearing MAGA hats, according to the New York Post. As of Monday evening, no arrests have been made for this case as police are still probing for answers.

The Million MAGA March was heavily promoted on social media as videos were posted showing protesters and counter-protesters exchanging blows, shoves, and punches while “No Trump, No Peace” was chanted. Trump-supporters were harassed and doused with liquids as their pro-Trump flags were snatched and burned.

Far-right groups such as The Proud Boys and The Three Percenters, along with anti-government groups such as Oath Keepers, Republican members of Congress, and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones were all in attendance to protest election results.

"ANTIFA SCUM ran for the hills today when they tried attacking the people at the Trump Rally because those people aggressively fought back. Antifa waited until tonight, when 99% were gone, to attack innocent #MAGA People. DC Police, get going — do your job and don’t hold back!!!" Trump said, via Twitter.

The president himself approved the large gathering Saturday morning as he sent his motorcade through streets lined with supporters. Joe Biden continues to denounce the violence, even accusing President Trump of “ fanning the flames of hate ,” after a man died during a Pro-Trump rally in August.
